Parallel Printer lead, 25 way D Type plug to 36 way Amphenol (Centronics) plug.

The cable comes out of the connector at right angles to normal, ideal for where space is tight and you wish your printer to be as close to the wall as possible.

Standard printer cables normally protrude from the back of the printer by 70mm or more even with the cable bent sharply at right angles, the sharp angle and pressure that is put on the cable and socket can cause a poor connection and may damage the printers socket mounting. This special cable's connector protrudes only 35mm and as the cable comes out of the side it is not under any pressure!

If looking into the connector on the cable or standing in front of the printer the cable will come out of the connector to the right.
If looking into the Amphenol Socket on the printer when you plug in the lead the cable will go to the left.
